I was sure my arm and shoulder would be sore today after bowling 3+ games yesterday after a 15-year layoff. It's a little sore, but not noticeable unless I do this (well, quit doing that!).

Instead, I'm sore from left knee to left hip. Very strange.
If you're doing it right, that's where you should be sore. Bowl with your legs, not your arms.....
I was doing it right, then . . .

Beebs was quite impressed with it, and says it must stay up at least a week or two. Maybe even have a guaranteed Top 5 spot...

I'm home, too! No clouds, weather, just smog to welcome me back. Poor Kay had to wait til 3:45 to leave, but I got picked up by my future d-i-l and got home to a Dot assault. Plus she's eating the plunger.\

What a FUN weekend!

Hey Sprots! I wore my sweatshirt home and if Kay had worn hers we could have said we were Ft. Lewis cheerleaders. Just because it's 80 degrees is not an excuse to not wear the sweatshirt! Also, I've decided it's a light rose madder, not fuschia.

I, too, have sore legs, but my bowling scores were not as fabu as the others'.

I'm working on drawing 1/5th of a toe in paint so I figure it will be 175 years til I've mastered ES's abilities.
Well, then

I'm back home, too. Twice. After dropping off Kay and Kim at the airport, I came home and took a three-hour nap. I needed to make sure that the couch was sufficiently comfy for sleeping. Then I went to visit Rusty and came back home again. Now it's time to reheat a bowl of chili in the microwave and take some Mucinex. I have promised Lizbit that I will stay home with her tonight.

Sprots should know that ES has shown up several times since she left my house on Saturday. The saddest moment was when the squirrel came down to the chain link fence to look at his sign. I guess he was making sure that Lizbit had followed his sign-making directions properly. Even though I was probably 20 feet away from him, I could see tears in the corner of his eye when he realized that Sprots had turned down his generous offer to provide her with the JJC points she wanted.

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

--squirrelmama (10/3/07)

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I'm in. Birmingham - just 90 more miles and I'll be home! Uneventful flight and the bad weather has moved out for my drive home.

I agree! Light rose madder!

I never even heard of that color until Stephen King's book, and there it is.
