The little orange icon didn't take me to the final page with Skoop's message. And since I had essentially just repeated what she said, I decided my post was unnecessary redundancy.

Even though deleting a post <gasp> hurts my lifetime posting total.

Beat the Block (OK, so it was radio, but I'm still proud of it!)
Anyone Can Play (OK, so it was INTERNET radio, but ditto!)

Have auditioned for
Millionaire, and dammit, one day I'll make it!

Would like to appear on
Millionaire (preferably the movie edition, but I'll take what I can get)
5th Grader (but there's no way in hell they'd take me)
Beauty and the Geek (but at 44, it's even a longer shot than 5th Grader...but still, I'd love to be in that house with all those hot, stupid women)
1 vs. 100 (but only as a 1)

Passed the test, tried out for, got a postcard, and got flushed from the pool when Regis left the show:

By the way, my sister Amy (WWTBAM, January, 2001) just auditioned for a show called Amnesia that hasn't begun taping yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her.

I have no doubt marley will find you.

He has a love/hate thing going on with that show - that is my interpretation of his relationship to the show and might not reflect his true relationship. Anyway - he posts about it often.

I think he will love having someone to talk to about it who actually has some first hand experience.

I can't recall what comments I might have had after your show aired. A lot of us here look at 5th Grader as a chance for easy money...if you can present the over-the-top personality their producers are looking for. Congratulations that you apparently did.

I'm surprised they had the one contestant who did take the $1 million gamble, with their rules that you can't see the question before committing to answer it.

My theory on that guy (from watching him on TV) is that he was all pumped up full of adrenaline. If you recall, he was breakdancing on stage after getting the $300,000 and $500,000 questions right. He was probably so hyped up that he could not think straight when he went for (and lost) the $1 million.

So, vicking, please tell us about your experience on AYSTA5G. We are always interested in the "behind the scenes" elements of any game show. How did you get on, for instance? How was the taping day? Stuff like that.

Oh, and while you're at it, when were you on BAM and how did you do?
