Since the yolk is the unborn chicken and lives off the white, and the white is where all the albumin is (IIRC), the answer has to be "A".

One of the things that a contestant and PAF need is the ability to distill the question to its essence. Had Mary Ann simply asked who the author of the "Rabbit" series was, her PAF would have had more time to answer the question.
