Ouch! A particularly severe audience dursting! :(

But...what happened to the $1,000 Audience Contest? They were already into the final segment of this episode, which is exactly the situation for which TPTB decided to add that contest, instead of starting a new contestant. In retrospect, it looks like it makes sense, since Stacey's whole appearance fit into those few remaining minutes, but nobody could have known that would happen!

Did they tape an audience member, then tape Stacey for what would have been the start of the next episode, and then decide to splice her into this episode instead, after her run ended so abruptly?

Question 1-ouch. I don't know, doubt the audience would, so I JTQ right away.
Questions 2 through 4-easy. I played Stratego as a kid with my brother-he usually beat me.
I'm just a game show nerd.

She made a good decision to JTQ. This doesn't strike me as something the audience would know. As for me I was expecting "OSS", but when the answers were revealed I recognized the correct one.

Ouch! Dursted by the audience. But Stratego was never a popular game. FTR, Marshal is the highest-ranking piece in the game, Captain is 5 and Sergeant is 7. I used to have a set and played it a lot.

I played this a lot growing up, and I knew the marshal and captain immediately were playing pieces. I had to stop and remember the sergeant, not the private, was also a piece.

I think that the audience (not familiar with this board game) thought about American military ranks, and ruled out the marshal. I cringed when the audience went that way, and she went with their answer.
