Ouch. I'd say this is as close to a former "llama" as we've seen this season. Didn't answer a single question correctly.
At least he got $1,000 for showing up.

Question 1-easy (especially if you remember WHY Bristol Palin is even considered famous)
Question 2-OK, it's not Cooper or Newman. I'd either ATA (we saw what happened here when the contestant did it) or JTQ. I knew about Dustin Hoffman but Phillip Seymour slipped my mind.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Q1 could also be Gossip Girl.

That was my first thought before the choices came up, then when I saw C I suspected that. But all those shows are synonymous to me. I would've had to burn the ATA.

Still an effective hook, I see.

So the audience isn't as smart as he thought they were. A shame. I'd have gone down also with the same answer, but I wouldn't have used the lifeline. I guess Peter Fonda never won a Best Actor Oscar. And I guess the two Hoffmans are Dustin and Philip Seymour.

Peter Fonda
was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for "Ulee's Gold" but did not win.
Henry Fonda won Best Actor for "On Golden Pond".
Philip Seymour Hoffman won Best Actor for "Capote".
Dustin Hoffman won Best Actor for "Rain Man" and "Kramer v. Kramer".
I would have missed this one.
No matter where you go, there you are.

That's a good point, but only if you also happen to know that "Secret Life" is about a teenage girl who gets pregnant.
The fiancee is a fan, so I knew this one. The theme song of the show is "Let's Do It" by Cole Porter, sung by show star Molly Ringwald.
