You don't? By coincidence, this month is the first anniversary of the defeat of the Tamil Tigers after a 30 year civil war in Sri Lanka.

2009 was a relatively quiet year in the Congo.

Answer
A: Surf City ( 4 )
To me, "Surfer Girl" and "In My Room" sound the same, which is why I know both are Beach Boys songs, so even if I didn't know that Jan and Dean did "Surf City" I could get the answer by process of elimination.

I've never heard "TPaw" (though I have heard of T'Pau, "the only person ever to refuse a seat on the Federation Council" ), but I know that Tim Pawlenty is governor of Minnesota.

Many paper towel rolls come with perforations that allow you to select either in units of standard-sheets or half-sized sheets.

I wouldn't have known this except my wife happened to buy some "select-a-size" rolls very recently.

OK, that makes sense, sort of. I just grab an end, pull it out and rip. It's possible that elwing purchases "select a size" paper towels and I never noticed.
