Has anyone here ever heard of that distinguished gentleman, Mr. Foghorn Leghorn?

I guess Chad has now eaten some crow in his time too.

Meredith asked him if he'd ever heard of Foghorn Leghorn, the Warner Brothers cartoon character. I couldn't hear Chad's response but I got the impression that the answer would have been "no".

so far so good.

Geez, they usually, when they end on a leaving-seat contestant, don't leave on a losing-one.

I wonder if he got "leghorn" mixed up with "bighorn" which IS a sheep.
I'm just a game show nerd.

I'm ready to RME and pillory the kid and I didn't even watch it, but maybe I'm just too damned old. I'm going to poll my nephews this weekend and see if they know who Foghorn Leghorn is. They are 14 and 16, so it's a little younger, but close.

However, I think they probably will know because 1. My dad used a Foghorn Leghorn voice quite a lot and 2. The oldest one is, along with me, a big fan of No Undies Mondays on BOOM.

It interests me how people mentally pronounce words that are always written (like I always said gusgerbils "goose-grrr-bills"), so how does everybody say "WE/WE"? As I'm reading, I always say it in my head as "weewee" as in "I gotta go!".
