Gee, this first post-PaF era stack was pretty easy for me. No problems.

I guess she didn't know that the capital of Nevada is CARSON CITY.

If that was the hook that got her on the show, I'm gonna grumble.

Well, I think it's unfair that "some people" are still being rejected by the APs, so stick it up your nose, Meredith.

Yeah, gotta keep the game "pure". Pfaugh!

OK, I have to confess I thought this was cute, especially Cookie Monster's asides.

A shame that she had to burn the lifelines here. As Kiran noted, only one of them sounds remotely Italian.

I'll bet she wouldn't have needed a Google PAF to answer this one. One thing I think will result from the axing of the PAF - a greater "hot seat churn" since people have only three lifelines rather than four.

Cute, maybe, but did you notice that they moved the Celebrity Q down from the second tier to the first tier in this stack? Fifteen seconds on TDC, including the time it takes to read the answers, and Cookie Monster had to read them with his long, drawn-out accent!

Now that TPTB have killed the PAF, we'll have to see if the change in policy got communicated down to the question writers. They ought to eliminate those WWOQs that could only be answered with a Google PAF. If the WWOQs are still there, the odds of penetrating the upper tier be much worse.

As for this question, I wonder if Cheryl was familiar with any of those rivers? Or did she have any idea where the West Bank was?

Um ... on my computer, no questions for $10K or $12.5K appeared for Cheryl. Did this happen for anyone else?

Nice catch. The numbers were accidentally jumped up. Cheryl only walked with $10,000.

She left with 10K, so she walked on the 12.5K question not the $25K question. The questions are there, the dollar
amount needs to be changed.

Thanks for the help on the values of the questions, everyone. I did not see the show, so I was wondering about the amounts.
