Commercial Break

When she found out she was going to do the show, Jodie went out and got a bunch of books, including Ken Jennings’ book on trivia, an ATLAS, an anatomy textbook, and nursery rhymes (as she has no kids). Regis asks if any of these have helped so far, and Jodie replies no, but “you never know”.

Jodie’s friend of 25 years, Gina, is in the relationship seat.

Jodie’s dad played for the Los Angeles Lakers back when “it was a corporate league”. Jodie once bumped into Phil Jackson and told him this, and Phil asked how her father’s game was today? She replied, “He’s 82- his game is golf”.

$12,500 (Primetime Specials)- In 2009, NBC aired three primetime specials based on what popular “Saturday Night Live” sketch?

A- The Target Lady B- Weekend Update

Jodie doesn’t hesitate- when Regis stops reading at 22 seconds, she uses the ATA lifeline.

A- Nicolas Sarkozy B- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
C- Hu Jintao D- Vladimir Putin

At 20 seconds, Jodie uses the ATE lifeline.

Gelman knows the answer, but reads it one more time to be sure. He is very sure it’s D

Commercial Break

Perhaps the second most famous Uma after Uma Thurman, Uma Pemmaraju is a what?

A- Concert violinist B- Pro golfer

Jodie feels pretty good even though she only got a few hours’ sleep because Gina got in late, and then they stayed up late talking about the room.- how it was the size of a woman’s jail cell or a closet.

Jodie had an ex-boyfriend who was a movie producer, and she had a small role in a film he made about Jimi Hendrix. The film didn’t get released due to a lawsuit, but she met actor George Clooney (in 1994, before he was a mega-star), who had a friend on the set. Clooney let her know he was filming a pilot for a show called “ER”. (Transcriber’s note: I thought I heard a scream and a Grumble ™ emanating from Ithaca on Friday)

$25,000 (Pop Music)- The 2009 Britney Spears single “3” is a risqué dance song that bizarrely mentions what musical trio?

A- The Three Tenors B- Peter, Paul, and Mary
C- Emerson, Lake, & Palmer D- The Dixie Chicks

Jodie doesn’t know, and walks with $15,000.

[Reveal] Spoiler:
B- Peter, Paul, and Mary

Never heard about this photo. I'll try the audience.

WGAS®. I'll PAF. What?! I can't PAF?! Dammit! I guess I'm stuck with asking Gelman, then. I'll probably be walking away, just like Jodie, unless Gelman is dead-on sure.

IGAS because I can recall the answer before the choices come up, enabling me to slide through $25,000 lifeline-free.

15K: Of the 4, only Sarkozy is also vain enough in the peculiar sort of way that makes men do this stuff. And its more Putin's "thing". Despite not having actually seen this photo. Pretty sure I've seen some photo of Putin on a horse, though. If he'd been shirtless, would I have cared enough to remember it? Possibly not. Hold breath, go for Putin.

25K: No blinking idea. ATA. if they aren't sure, PAF. Oh. No more PAF. Well, ATE I suppose.
