I wasn't aware of the direct translation of "MA" to "mature audience". Could certainly rule out "PG", feeling it would mean the same as in movies. So should "G". "Y" could mean "youth", but I'd 50/50 to be sure of "MA".

Is senior chief different from master sergeant? They mentioned his rank very quickly before going to a commercial break, so I might have gotten it wrong. IIRC, his rank insignia had one chevron above five rockers. (Or is it vice-versa on that terminology?)

He is a Senior Master Sergeant, which is the next rank up from Master Sergeant. Chief Master Sergeant is the next rank after that.
