for using the word "stoked" in this week's Facebook promo.

But no credit whatsoever for another mediocre choice of expert: according to the preview video, Pat Kiernan (news anchor on the NY1 cable channel here in New York, and former host of "World Series of Pop Culture") will be appearing in that role this week. Another person who has no discernible qualifications for being an "expert" . . . although I'm sure he can't suck any worse than that CNBC person who was on this week . . .

Well, at least you didn't crap on his performance before you even saw him handle a question. Oh, wait....

I seem to recall that he's been a news anchor for a long time, so he should be up on world events and all the ancillary stuff that goes along with that for a good period of time. And he could have absorbed something by reading 485665065833 pop culture questions along with the answers.

Season 7 ended on Friday so you don't have to watch. They're promoting repeat episodes.

Then I have to give TPTB further credit for their promo making me think these are new episodes. Jeopardy! still has a few weeks of new episodes left in Season 25, so I didn't realize that BAM would have wrapped things up already.

These episodes with Pat Kiernan as expert aired last Decemeber. They gave away $258,000 that week. Also you don't have to wait until Monday to watch the first contestant. Here's a clip enjoy.
