Geography is my wheelhouse category, but I had a little trouble on this. I was able to rule out St. Thomas and St. Croix, since they are both part of the US Virgin Islands which used to be owned by Denmark. St. Kitts' capital is Basse-Terre, although I can't remember if its on St. Kitt's or Nevis. I would have probably gone for this without using a lifeline.
In this town, don't we love it now, everbody's waiting for the next surprise!

How many rows of stars are on their flag?

They only have two stars among the three so it must be a trick question.

It's the strangest thing. I just thought about "The Omega Man" yesterday morning on the way to work, a couple of hours before the show.

$25K: I've never heard of St. Barts. Plus, I couldn't remember the capitals of the other three islands. PAF.

No idea who this is. When Meredith said "On the Money" I was afraid it was going to be Jim Cramer again.

"Chapeau" = hat, so it seemed obvious that "chaperone" was related to headware.

No idea, so it's time to go for a lifeline. Since the island is "trendy" let's go with ATA first.

I'd have needed a lifeline for this--ATE or PAF--but for the wrong reason. I was torn between St. Thomas and St. Croix, thinking the answer would be one of the formerly Danish Virgin Islands (even thought Denmark and Sweden haven't been all that friendly, so that one would name a city after the other's king). I didn't recall Sweden ever having colonies in the Caribbean.

It's curious, according to Wikipedia:
Saint Barthélemy was first claimed by France, in 1648. It was sold to Sweden in 1784, which sold it back to France in 1878.
I don't like being stumped by $25K geography questions. :(

Perhaps you'd like to expound on why St. Barts was sold from France to Sweden and back to France, then?

Bear in mind that wintergreen has set the bar pretty high for exposition around here!

It was a real estate scam - the two countries decided to sell the island back and forth to drive up the price for the other islands in the area.
