Ogi: Obviously, I don't know the answer, for sure. If it was me, I'd go with TNT--if it was me, I'd use Double Dip, TNT and USA, if I was in your shoes, but I'll leave it up to you.

Anyone know what was particularly "fitting" about that answer? Are those Christian sports?

Well, it's the only one of these organizations that's associated with sports at all.

I understand that that's why it's the correct answer, but, typically, when the question includes the word "fittingly," then the name of the organization has a word in it associated to the correct response. YMCA was not founded to provide low-cost exercise facilities, it was a bible study and prayer group designed to keep young working men out of trouble.

Yes, so "young men" would be the clue.

At least, more so than "inventing" those sports for retired people, animals, or . . . food and/or drugs, I guess.

I guess there was no keeping it a secret, after that!

One of those "how/why do I know this?" questions. My vague memory says there was a lot of publicity, because it was the first such showing of the movie on cable, Ted Turner owning the MGM film vault, and all that. I'd have wanted more time than TDC allowed to think about it.

Yeah, I remember Turner owning the rights to bunch of old films, particularly GWTW. I also remember around that time many movie stars, directors, historians, and critics being in a tizzy over Turner colorizing several classic black-and-white films.

If you haven't googled it already, Staten Island landfill consists of: Vanilla Ice Cream with Brownie chunks, chocolate crunchies, cherries and chocolate fudge. Sounds like a chocoholic's heaven. And in defense of New Jersey, while there are some areas that smell pretty bad, not all of Jersey is a landfill. New Yorkers not too long ago, were treated to a sweet maple syrup like smell from not to far away from where I live.

I didn't google it, so thanks for that info.

And since I'm a native of New Jersey (who moved out), I can ask this.

Fenugreek is also a galactogogue (milk increaser). Some women take it to increase their milk supply when nursing. If they take enough, their sweat smells like maple syrup.

At least it was coming from a "flavor and fragrance" factory instead of from herbs actually growing in NJ, so the state's reputation hasn't been totally ruined in the Big Apple!

Unless I didn't catch it, as I skimmed the above article, the only thing it didn't mention is that the factory was in North Bergen, NJ, just the next town over from me. But I must confess that I have never smelled it. And I am afraid NJ will never lose that smelly reputation. Oh well. I had to laugh at a YDKJ website when one of their Disordat games, was to choose whether a given name was a town in New Jersey, or another name for a fart. Oh well....

Rochester NY hosts a lilac festival every year and they sell a lilac-based perfume. It always amused me that they called it "Essence of Rochester" - which I thought was probably not the best name.

Bill WAS a really nice guy. The funny thing is he's really intimidating because, well...he's built like a strong offensive lineman. His wife came with him bright and early on the first taping day as we were waiting outside and I remember assuming that it was her that was contesting...Just goes to show ya.
Anyway, right when I met Bill and asked him where he was from he responded "San Andreas...and it's not my fault."
From there we were talking and laughing in the green room and of all the people there I was really hoping he'd do really well the most (I'm referring to the first day only, in case Rafferty Barnes is reading) and so he did.
