This was player #2 today, and she was racing through her answers when she had them. "Bfinalanswer", all one word as fast as she could say it. Also a classic case of poor PAFing. PAF didn't understand the important word, and player didn't try spelling it out to help.

Wish she'd done better. BD is in a similar line of work, though probably on a more degreed level. They're not paid that much.

I'm wondering who came up with this topic? If the whole point of the question was knowing what "lunar" meant, wasn't "Walking on the Moon" a bit too much of a hint?

I so agree. They just aired this show here at 3am and I happened to stumble upon it. How frustrating/ridiculous that she didn't spell out the vital word after he obviously didn't hear it correctly, instead of wasting all that time repeating every single word of the question...
You heard "Woodsie," I heard "Woodsie." Couldn't she hear "Woodsie?!" I'm really wondering, is it that difficult to hear the PAF clearly while in the studio?

Too bad she didn't ask Jeff first, and had the PAF for that last question... or double dipped on it. I didn't know the answer either, but B & C just seem nonsensical.

I bet she would have made better decisions with more time. TDC.... grrrr.

I think she did not make the connection that the name was a combo name and just thought it was a name, so the pronunciation didn't matter.

This is my point, without realizing that they are not asking about the movie, but what the two people were called in the press makes the question not what it really is.

The clock does that to people.

I suspect that for rgcviper and for Susie and her PAF, Watergate was ancient history, not something they remember living through. It makes a difference.

Haven't we heard this hook before? Not that it's a bad one.

I guess for horror films it would be "ribsplitting".

I wonder if Michael has tried out for the show.

If Susie had read the question correctly - "Woodstein" rather than "Woodsie" - the PAF might have had a better shot at answering.
