What a shame L. Frank Baum died before he could release his book detailing Dorothy's dalliances with Glenda the Good Witch in subsequent visits to the Land of Oz.

No one is straight or gay unless it was written in the book. Outside the books these folks don't have different attributes.

Rowling wrote a bunch of back stories that never made it into print; she said she wrote an entire childhood for Sirius. Fans have been encouraging her to publish her "encyclopedia" of HP characters. If she does, it will be in the book. If Dumbledore is straight or gay in his entry, will that count?
