she's so tiny/fragile!

People are always surprised when I tell them this - I have to insist, "No, it's true, she's a little bitty thing!!" I was really concerned that I would look massive next to her (even though I'm not really big myself) but it wasn't too bad.

Cherish this experience - I recommend making some notes for yourself because although you'll always remember this feeling, some of the little details may become fuzzy by the time you air and can share your experience more thoroughly.

Hey, I was thinking, the studio is on the 3rd floor the building right? I wanna say the intern kept pressing either 3 or 4 in the elevator when we went to the studio.

But right outside the studio, in the holding area (right by where The View is taped), there's like outside and trucks and stuff. I feel stupid and confused

There's no way there was a road going through the third floor of the building, so every time she pressed 3, it must've really taken us to the ground floor, right?

No, the studio is definitely on 3. The green room was on 2, and at one point there was so much commotion on the elevators that a PA walked me up a flight of stairs to get to the studio to get mic'ed. As I recall my holding pen was a room between the two studios with a couple of freight elevators. (I could see the back of the set of The View through a big open doorway.)

Yea, that's where my holding pen was too. But don't you remember, right across from those freight elevators was a big plastic garage door with windows? When I was first out in the holding pen, they were open and people were working out there (looked like construction workers) and I swear there was a truck. Yet when I was in the holding pen later (I was in there before and after lunch), the garage door was down. Yet people were exiting through a side door (which led "outside") as if it were a street. But we're on the 3rd floor. I swear what I saw was the outside - there was no ceiling! It was sunlight. Certainly it's not sunlight all the way up?

Oh I sound crazy.

I failed the test.

Old age? Out of practice? No studying?

Who knows?

All I know is I missed one question because I didn't read it properly, talked myself out of two correct answers, and missed another because it was the classic "poorly written Millionaire question" that I could make neither heads nor tails of.

If the passing score is still ~25, then there's obviously a couple more I missed that I can't think of at the moment.

Oh well...it was fun having the experience again. Talked to some nice people, and felt like I would have been "on" in the audition...even did a nice recorded bit with the show comedian.

Not a bad way to pass the afternoon.

HI everyone! New to the board here.. I found this site about a week ago after I found out the the auditions will be in Philly. I just got back from the Philly Auditions. My friend and I were in the first group to audition today. There were a surprisingly large number of test passers in that first session. The room held 300-400 people and there were at least 30-50 people who passed the test (maybe more).... Both my friend and I passed the test and got to the video interview. I'll keep you posted. Hopefully we will both get happy cards, although I felt that my first interview went much better than the video one because the first interview touched on my more interesting answers...

So my friend who went with me to the Philly auditions on the 11th got THE CALL last Monday and she went to tape yesterday and has to go back on Tuesday as they didn't get to her... I'm still waiting for the postcard...
