Where's BAM on TV?
I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina, about an hour west of Asheville, in a college town called Cullowhee. For some reason, I cannot find "Millionaire" anywhere in my TV listings. I've checked all the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, etc.), for all times of the day, along with the official BAM website, but no luck.
Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Chattanooga, Charlotte, and Greenville-Spartanburg are all listed here, though they've misspelled Spartanburg two ways:

One of the most beautiful places in the US. Wonder if it has changed any since I was last there---1974.

My experience with the WWTBAM website is it's not always up to date with each new season. Around here
it's never on the same station, it's on one year and not the next, and I usually just run across it by
accident if it happens to picked up by a local station. Sydicated shows are not always easy to find on a new
fall line up. Good luck!

I find that the TV Listings on Zap2It.COM are pretty up-to-date, and have, on occasion, been more accurate than schedules listed on each network's website.rgcviper wrote:I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina, about an hour west of Asheville, in a college town called Cullowhee. Go to:
http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tvlistings ... tProviders
On that page, you will need to enter your zip code. It will then look up all of the TV service providers in your area and give you a list, from which you need to choose yours.
Then use the search feature at the top right and enter "who wants to be a millionaire." When I do it here, it returns 2 choices that look identical. Selecting one only gives me the old reruns on GSN. Selecting the other one gives me the current (well, repeats for a few more weeks) station and GSN. I didn't compare the dates and times for the 2 sets of GSN dates provided. Maybe they have them separated out by Prime-Time vs syndicated. At any rate, when I picked the first provider for your zip (the school's cable company), it showed the current episodes running on WSPA (CBS, Channel 5) from 1:37am to 2:07am from Tuesday to Saturday. Be sure to check for your own TV provider, though, as their schedule may be different.

I really hope they are up to date, at least for Syracuse.kayrharris wrote:My experience with the WWTBAM website is it's not always up to date with each new season. Around here

On Monday, I saw an advertisement saying that Entertainment Tonight would be coming to the channel at 7 pm. That's the time slot SyndieBAM has always had!

However, the SyndieBAM web site shows Millionaire playing at 7:30, so maybe they've just shifted it down half an hour. (That would conflict with J! on a competing station, but the DVR can take care of that.) I hope so, anyway. An e-mail inquiry to the station is still unanswered.

Okay, now that's a squirrel (of the species Sciurus ceramicus, I believe). And it appears that you've also caught an image of the elusive acorn fairy--well done!ulysses5019 wrote:MarleysGh0st wrote:Found it, but not really. That's a chipmunk, uly.ulysses5019 wrote:

I gotta keep movin' on up to the top ten. And I gotta keep ahead of the competition since there always seems to be an earthquake or volcano that needs reporting.

I think a post has to have more than just a link to count. Or someone has to actually reply to it. It's not like I don't have CNN already...

Try selling that idea to beast! Then we can start giving posts a weighted value, depending on their ontopicosity.Vague Mini wrote:I think a post has to have more than just a link to count. Or someone has to actually reply to it. It's not like I don't have CNN already...

I think it has to be a conversation starter, even if off-topic. Or it should spawn a Merry Man Parade!! That's the ticket!!!
Or it should inspire uly to change his avatar. Nope--too easy.....

All those initials got me thinking about that game again. Only I don't actually know anything; I'm just good at figuring things out. So someone else is going to have to answer the clues for the names and I'll get cracking on the obverse answers later......
